TRIGGERS ARE AN ACTIVATION TO HEAL

Instead of looking at your trigger as a reaction that brings out the worst in you, look at it as an activation to heal.

A trigger isn’t meant to cause you pain, it’s an activation meant to free you from pain.
A trigger isn’t meant to block your healing, it’s an activation meant to initiate your healing.
A trigger isn’t meant to suppress your trauma, it’s an activation meant to process your trauma.

There’s no need to hold back your triggers, if you know the wisdom that comes from processing them will make you more resilient in the long-run. It’s much easier to appreciate your triggers for what they’re showing you when you recognize they are activating you to heal.
